Are you more... 01) One who likes to talk during tv shows or one who likes silence while the tv show is playing? If I'm watching something, I want to be able to focus on it and get into it. I can't stand to have someone talk to me while I'm trying to watch something. If whatever is on is boring me, I may make conversation, and then it's ok for you to talk, otherwise, please be quiet! 02) A person who will wear a funny tshirt even if it might be offensive to some or a person who will not wear the tshirt if anyone might find it offensive? I would (and probably have) worn a shirt sporting a phrase or something that offended somebody, somewhere along the line. I know once, in jr. high, I had a pin on my jacket (it was the 80's!) that said, "Damn, I'm Good!" and the vice principal yelled at me to take it off, claiming it was, and I quote, "offensive to me and every other teacher on this staff." I left it on and beat it out of the office before it could be confiscated. 03) Analog watch or digital watch? Analog. They're prettier. I'll stick with Edna's answer on this one! 04) Heavy on the garlic or no garlic for you, thanks? I love garlic. Bring it on! Just don't breathe on me if you've had too much of it yourself! 05) Down with all the latest online lingo or usually sticking to proper language, grammar, and syntax? I recognize most of that stuff, but I can't STAND it. Outside of "LOL" or "IMO" and a couple of standard abbreviations of that nature, I type out everything, and I spell it properly, too! 06) Staunch, stifled upper-crust or plain, simple, sex-with-lard-having hillbilly? Well, neither, actually. I am somewhere in the middle, though I usually get along with people all the way at either extreme and have quite a varied group of people I consider friends, or have over the years. 07) A fan of direct current electricity (like in the car) or a fan of alternating current electricity (like in your home)? I don't drive, so I guess I'll have to say I prefer the AC electric. 08) Into music with a definite structure or into experimental fusion jazz without much structure? I pretty much listen to your standard rock 'n roll - any variety - though occasionally a tune falling into another genre will catch my fancy. 09) One who has seen (or wishes you could see) a UFO or one who hasn't seen (and doesn't want to see) a UFO? I'd love to see a UFO. Hell, I wouldn't mind being abducted by one. 10) Good with interacting with children or not good/uncomfortable with interacting with children? Pretty good at interacting with them, most of the time, depending on the temperament of the kid. As Edna had answered, I never "forgot" what it was like to be a kid (or a teenager) and that makes it a lot easier to relate to them. 11.06.05
Well, I'm back! I had a great weekend. Got up there around seven-ish Friday night (she picked me up), after stopping off at Ruby Tuesday's for some dinner... hung around and looked at pictures and old letters and stuff 'til bedtime. Saturday we went shopping, had lunch at Olive Garden, then came back home for a quick dinner before hitting the bars. My friend had a gift certificate for a bar she'd won on Halloween, and as soon as we sat down to the bar and ordered drinks, some frat boy-ish dude paid for them before we could whip it out. We then used up the gift certificate and moved on to the next bar, where we met up with all her wild friends from work. We spent forty-five minutes or so there, then went to some other bar where there was a cover charge, but someone paid ours. (I have to interject here that I was told last night that I could pass for 23! That's so awesome!) We also got a free drink ticket there, plus a girl my friend works with who shares my name and was having a birthday bought me a shot to do with her. I only ended up buying two of my own drinks all night. I didn't get too wasted, just drunk enough to have a good time. Did some dancing, as well. After the bar closed, I was so hungry and there was no all-night restaurant in the vicinity so we poked around the supermarket for half an hour, drunk as bums, and came home with a bunch of junk to chow on until three in the morning until finally hitting the sack. After being awakened around 7:30 this morning by a screaming, crying baby throwing toy cars around, I dragged my butt out of bed and had some coffee, and then we left to come back here around 10:00. All in all, it was a fun weekend, and I'll have a few digital pics on the photo blog soon, and some regular pics scanned as soon as I finish up the last 4 on the roll and take it in for processing! ;) 11.02.05
It's your choice, but I warn you not to underestimate my powers. I went out for a walk today. It was like, 64º out, so I had to. I need to start getting more exercise. I'd really like to drop about five pounds before the holidays get here. I need to drop about five; I'd actually like to drop a few more than that, and have a margin for error. Going up to hang with my friend from the good old days this weekend... I'll see what I can come up with for pictures. In the meantime, there's a story about us from back in the days on Hot Pink Bohemian. all material (unless otherwise stated) © 2005 frenzee.net |
