Another person from my past has been in touch with me...my friend Z from Brooklyn apparently tracked me down on Reunion.com and sent a message a month ago, which went to an old email I rarely check. This was just about the same time all the other people from my past came out of the woodwork. Toooo weird, people.

Ok! So I sold the sewing machine and the blender yesterday. That's $15 in my pocket. A couple came and looked at the table, but decided it was too big. Saturday a lady's coming about the keyboard, and I had another call on the table today, but she's supposed to get back to me about when she's coming by. I think someone's interested in the chair, too.

I ran up to Osco earlier for milk and some junk... good thing, because the monsoon kicked in around 1:30. Yesterday nary a cloud drifted across the sky, but today it's raining cats & dogs.

Yesterday I had some dude come take a look at a little sewing machine I'm selling. After inspecting it thoroughly and asking a couple questions, he informed me he "didn't have any cash" on him and needed to go to the bank. COME ON, MAN. Do I look that stupid? I guess I do, because I got one of those when I was trying to sell the bed, too. "Oh, we've got to run to the store for some rope, be right back!" Never to be seen again.

 You're driving all the way across town to look at something I'm asking TEN DOLLARS for, and you expect me to believe you not only have NO MONEY on you, but that you wouldn't have been better off stopping beforehand at the bank to save yourself a trip incase you decided to buy the item? Give me a goddamn break. Why can't you just say, "Look, I don't think this is really what I'm looking for, I think I'll pass"? Because I'm not stupid. What am I going to do, beat you up, take your ten bucks and make you take it?! The stupid games people play.

Sold the desk today, so I had to schlep all the computer stuff out to the kitchen and set it up on the damn glass dining table that I'll never, ever sell. Stupid thing. It's the nicest piece of furniture I have and would bring in the most money, if only anyone would come BUY the damn thing!! I won't even complain when I have to move everything back off it and onto the floor if only someone would PLEASE BUY IT AND TAKE IT AWAY! Thank you.

 Tomorrow we are finally having the get-together at my friend Joey's, and I'm going to give a bunch of my extra dishes to my friend Amy.

Yesterday I had lunch with my ex and her two girls, and then we saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (which I recommend). Sold s'more CD's on eBay and finally got the payment for a CD burn I got asked about weeks ago.

Speaking of s'mores, I'm totally addicted to Haagen Dazs Lite S'mores ice cream now. It's even better than Ben & Jerry's. And I finally passed the 3 million mark with my HSX portfolio, woohoo!

 Quick question - how can Bacardi have *no* carbs? All of its calories come from fat then. Does that sound right? Because I'm pretty sure there's no protein, and those are your three sources of calories. Since I know for a FACT it has calories, from whence do they come, then?

I updated over at Rantz today. I also redid the main page of Snafu Designs. I also stole this idea from somebody's blog, but I can't remember whose. Sorry. 

I TOTALLY forgot! I was watching this show on VH-1 last night, Celebrity Fit Club 2 - and correctly guessing all the weights before each participant stepped on the scale - and I see this average-to-geeky looking guy come up. I hadn't heard his name, and I sat there going, who the fuck is that? I guessed his weight dead on, and then they did the little bio thing like they do at the beginning of Fear Factor telling about the contestants... and it was JANI LANE. The lead singer from Warrant. Christ, I was only madly in love with the guy for like, a YEAR (in like, 1991). I thought I'd die when he married Bobbi Brown. DANG! I didn't even recognize that futhermucker!

I know I need to update. I'm just not really sure what the fuck's going on anymore. After a "happy" birthday wish from my aunt last night in which her "caring advice", delivered with what FELT and SOUNDED to me like contempt - for my choices and the way I live my life - rendering me crying & defensive, I came to the realization that this is probably going to become a frequent occurance, living among "older, wiser" members of my family. I know I'm not the daughter/niece/whoever they all bargained for. I cannot live - even temporarily - under conditions that are going to clench my stomach into an ulcer-riddled hell. I've had enough aggravation in my life, thank you. And I won't have it. I really hope the invitation to stay with my brother and sister-in-law as an alternative still stands...

WTF is going on?? I have been back in contact with 4 or 5 people from my past within the space of about three weeks who've all come crawling out of the woodwork suddenly. Is there something astrological going on I should know about? My b-day's next Wednesday, BTW, hint hint... ;)

I decided to take my drippy poetry and outdated song lyrics off the site. Perhaps I'll write some new material one of these days and then I'll decide whether to share it, but for now, I've decided that what I had displayed here needs to be put to bed for awhile, and I think I'm going to try and focus on telling some of my many wacky anecdotes instead, while I'm still young enough to remember them. So be checking the stories & prose page! Any updates will be noted here.

I don't usually update too much on this site; I just like to play with the way it looks a lot. I have, however, been doing a lot of drawing lately, and so I've scanned up a bunch of them and made a "drawings" section just for them.

Outside of that, the newest thing is probably the top 100 songs of all time list. The usual places have been updated within the last month or two: my mini disc playlist and my movie viewed & reviewed list. Lastly, there may have been some small changes to the about me page and the hot sheet.
